This is a genuine U.S. Army A-1 mechanic sweater from World War II.
This is a rare item, as examples with the black tag are very uncommon.
It's a thick, low-gauge V-neck sweater.
There are repairs and some loose threads in various places, but overall, it's in good condition without any serious damage.
The left sleeve has a US Air Force decal mark as shown in the image.
The size is marked as 38, and the actual measurements are approximately 48cm shoulder width, 47cm chest width, 48cm sleeve length, and 64cm length.
The seller, who is 172cm tall and weighs 60kg, finds the size to be just right.
The sleeves are a bit short, but as you can see from the images, the sleeves of the actual A-1 sweater are designed to be shorter than the length.
