This is a Made In Mexico Shure 545SD which has had a capsule replacement. The capsule was purchased on eBay, having been described as a "genuine SHURE replacement part".. however, I have my doubts - which are mainly based on looking at photos of both genuine and made-in-china versions of the capsules.
Because of this, I'm offering this at a low price. The microphone still performs well, but I do not have actual data to show the frequency response. I would suggest it for use as a "beater" mic, which still has some cool vintage vibes. This mic still has a vintage transformer, as well as switchable impedance circuitry that was original to the unit; in my opinion it is still a great mic, but alas I have a few too many great mics.
