Beautiful vintage Babbacombe Pottery Colour Splash lidded pot / sugar bowl, hand-painted in Torquay, Devon, England, circa 1960s. It features a distinctive "Colour Splash" glaze pattern with vibrant, high-contrast pastel and black stripes. The pottery was produced by Lownds-Pateman, who acquired Babbacombe Pottery in 1952. Similar items were hand-thrown and hand-glazed, part of a collectible range of ceramics. The high-gloss finish is characteristic of the style.
