Danish silver enamel candlestick, approx. 70 years old, attributed to Meka, Denmark. It is unmarked (or the mark is no longer visible), but the design perfectly matches Meka’s signature enamel pattern, as described by this seller here:https://www.dba.dk/recommerce/forsale/item/1202109?ci=4(selling a pair for 600 Danish kroner (DKK) = roughly 80€). Crafted in silver enamel, it is 5 cm high with a base diameter of 7,5 cm. Silver enamel refers to a decorative technique where a layer of vitreous enamel (a type of melted glass) is fused onto a silver surface through high heat. Here it probably is silver plated.
