Strong Good condition Surfaces are perfect, item has been out atleast a handful of times though but has not taken a beating. There is some damage though, left side pocket has one piece of velcro undone but the fabric is not ripped. Pockets have zippers on top of that. I can't comment on the weatherproofness properties as I haven't worn it but it's a quality manufacturer. Does not seem like a fullblown rain pant but rather more for cold wind/moderate spray. Overtrouser like cut, it's roomy to wear and easy to pull on. Hems open so you can push a shoe through. On me 178cm/88kg slim L-male, I wear 34/32 100%cotton jeans, item's no problem to pull over golf trousers and wears comfortably over them. I guess would be okay for a w36 guy aswell.
