The New York Creation label
first appeared in 1940 and is
seen into the late 1950s. The label
was created when a group of milliners
and manufactures pooled their talents
and resources with the goal of keeping
American styles competitive with French
styles. Some of the designers were well
known but chose to remain anonymous
when designing in support of the
New York Creation label.
This navy blue straw hat sit at the back
of the head and sports a thick dusty rose
satin ribbon trim. Measures 20.5" around
the inside. Slightly pointed top & ships
in a box. Excellent condition no
issues. Arrives clean ready to wear.
