Most skirt sets available for purchase came with a closed back ( as seen in the stock photos) but this set was intended to be used as a store display so it came with the cut out open back (shown with tie dye underneath). I’m not sure how many of these were made like this but I’ve never seen another one. In the late 90s and early 2000s, I worked as a regional manager for Macys where these were sold. I brought this home for my sister but she never wore it.
