This is a beautiful vintage pieta that appears to be hand carved alabaster from Italy. (I’ve seen other vintage pieces of hand carved alabaster from Italy and this looks/feels very similar). It has markings on the back but I’m unsure what they say. One is a series of initials, either J.A.T. or .I.A.T. See pic 11. Good condition with the only damage on Mary’s fingers as shown in the last pic. Approximately 5.5 inches wide and 6 inches high.
