Commemorative 90 page hardcover book issued for the fundraiser inauguration dinner of September 15, 1998 which launched the consolidation of varies Jewish organizations into one physical facility on 16th Street, the Flatiron District, New York City. This First and only Edition book shows some of the collection of some of the combined organizations, like the YIVO and the American Sephardi Federation, for example. Today the successful conglomerate Center For Jewish History holds the most Jewish archives in a single institution anywhere in the world. This book also lists the many initial donors who made “The Center for Jewish History” possible, surprisingly with many big corporations and non-Jewish benefactors participating.
