Tedeschi Trucks Band I Am the Moon: I Crescent Vinyl LP

Brand New / Sealed Vinyl LP. Written and recorded during 2020, Crescent is just the first of a four LP release under the series title I Am the Moon. For a personal perspective, I saw Tedeschi Trucks Band the night they released this record and to mark the occasion they performed the album in its entirety. I was floored! All the songs on this record are beautifully crafted but Hear My Dear and I Am the Moon are a true showcase of the evolution of the band with the addition of keyboardist Gabe Dixon’s lead vocal. Then there’s the guitar mastery of Derek Trucks showcased in the albums only instrumental. Upon hearing the tune, Pasaquan, live I initially thought it was a romp through the ABB’s Mountain Jam, but no. It was a tour de force of the prowess of Truck’s mastery of the 6 string. Not a wasted note. So good! Give it a spin!
