ABOUT:
Camille Tharaud - French ceramist (1878 -1956) Famous for Art Deco style, with its modern forms, rich colors, and brilliant glazes, appeared on the scene by 1910, exploded into great heights of popularity by 1925, and remained popular throughout the 1930s. Tharaud was a World War I veteran who, upon returning from the front, worked as a porcelain manufacturer and experimented with different coloring mediums, most notably with enamel.
