For your consideration is this vintage earthenware creamer produced by Blue Ridge Southern Potteries of Erwin, Tennessee. Foudn and advertisement for the pattern in a 1949 newspaper advertisement referring to the pattern as "Southern Ivy". The name of this pattern on Replacements and within the Illustrated Value Guide by Betty Bill Newbound refer to the pattern as "Plantation Ivy". This piece measures 3.7 inches in diameter x 3.3 inches high and was fashioned in the post-war ball jar shape popular during that time. This piece does not bear any maker's mark on the bottom.Condition: the bottom rim does have a few rough spots. Seller is unable to determine if they are glazing defects, common with Blue Ridge Potteries' pieces, or fleabites. No Crazing present.
