Vintage cast aluminum butter press / butter mold marked "TR HALL – BURLINGTON, N.C." This is a classic early–mid 20th century kitchen tool used to form and shape butter into a neat cylinder or puck, often for table service or storage.
The press features a solid, heavy cast aluminum body with a T-handle plunger that slides through the top slot to compress the butter. Interior shows normal tool marks from manufacture and use. Exterior has honest age wear, light surface oxidation, and a small area of residue from an old label, all consistent with age and use. No cracks, breaks, or repairs noted.
