Vintage cross-stitch sampler kit “Keepsake Needlework” by Jane Snead Samplers, formerly located in Philadelphia, PA. The company was in operation from the 1960’s through the 1990’s.
This sampler design features the Pennsylvania State bird and flower, which are the Ruffed Grouse and the Mountain Laurel. The year 1787 is also noted, which is the year that Pennsylvania was admitted into The Union.
