These Starkey hearing aids are controlled by an app. That is how the hearing aid wearer can increase or decrease the sound.

Ask your audiologist if you need to know more, and that office can sync the wearer's phone to this device.
I have the box and all the parts, but I don't have the instructions. I'm looking, and I'll include a link for online instructions
If you know you or an older relative really miss hearing the tv, I'd encourage you to try this.
