This is an external shutter unit that is attached to the lens of large format cameras, etc., and has a metal plate with "KING TRADE MARK" on the front.
Product Features:
Purpose: Used to control exposure time when taking pictures with old lenses that do not have a shutter mechanism (such as barrel lenses), by attaching it to the front or back of the lens.
Mechanism: Inside the circular opening, there are rubberized cloth or metal "blades" that open and close to act as a shutter.
