This is a classic Sony cassette Walkman, playback-only.
I was able to confirm the motor sound, but the cassette tape would not play. Therefore, please consider purchasing this as a defective or junk item.
＜Product Condition＞
・When I inserted a rectangular battery I had and a cassette tape, and operated the buttons on top, I could hear the sound of the motor spinning inside, but it stopped immediately, and playback and fast forward did not work.
・Operation with AA batteries has not been confirmed.
・There may be other undiscovered defects. Please consider purchasing this as a junk item, for parts, or as an antique.
・The cassette tape and batteries used for testing are not included.
