Vintage mid century ceramic skunk bobblehead figurine, made in Japan.
Big-eye anthropomorphic style with original fur tuft and ribbon bow.
Head is mounted on a spring set into original putty for nodding/bobble movement.
Marked Japan on the base; appears to be an Enesco import based on style and construction.
These whimsical nodder animals were produced in the late 1950s to early 1960s and are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially with original embellishments intact.
Condition good for age with light expected wear.
Bobble mechanism is functional and the figurine displays beautifully.
Measures approximately 6 inches tall.
