Vintage or Antique Hand Knotted Silk Damask Pillow Shams Bohemian Set of 4 Gold
Not sure of the age of these shams. A fiber burn test points to silk, but I'm not 100% certain. The fabric is a satin weave in a cream and gold thread that shimmers beautifully in all sorts of light. The central red damask floral pattern appears to be printed on in some way - perhaps silk screened? I've never seen something printed in this way. Very unique. The gold fringe is all hand-knotted. Quite delicate and finely made.
There are 4 shams in total. Each one is open at one end and measures 16x27 inches.
