Vintage Japanese wooden Kokeshi doll. Body slightly curved, and is painted red line bands and and red floral designs. The facial expressions is mature and neutral and it's surrounded by Tufts of black painted hair and extra red lines to match the body. It has been brushed with lacquer. Kokeshi dolls are traditional toys, figurines, and charms crafted from wood that are an excellent decorative representation of Japanese craftsmanship and traditional culture.
