Overview: Up for sale is an incredible oil painting on canvas board depicting a sunset oceanscape of waves crashing on a shore. Painting is signed and dated 1963 on verso. The first name is Cassie. I'm having difficulty figuring out the last name. Possibly "Spanen, Sponen, Sparren, Sparrow, Spencer, Sporren." I haven't been able to tie this to a listed artist, but she clearly was a professional artist. Believe this to be east coast of the U.S., based on where this was acquired. Framed in a gold-gilt wood frame.
Condition: Painting and frame are in excellent condition.
Measurements: Painting measures 20 inches wide x 16 inches high. Frame measures approximately 25.375 inches wide x 21.375 inches high.
