Up for sale is a rare, handcrafted wooden lure from Al Gag's Custom Lures. This is the "Austin Jr." model, weighing in at 1.5 oz and measuring approximately 6 inches in length.
Al Gag is a Hall of Fame lure maker known for his "Built One At A Time" quality. This lure features a beautiful yellow/white scale pattern with high-quality VMC hooks and Spro swivels.
Condition: New in Package (NIP). The lure itself is in mint condition. The plastic bag and header card show some vintage shelf wear and light water staining at the very top (see photos), which is common for tackle of this age.
Perfect for the serious surf caster or a collector of vintage New England tackle. Made in the USA (Agawam, MA).
