Charming pair of circa 1950s styled hand carved soapstone smiling/laughing Buddha bookends. Dripping with style and an Infinitely fun and positive infusion into your decor! Size 5 inches wide. 2.75 inches deep, 8 inches high. Color is yellowish brown tan. Material soapstone. Style: Asian Antique Hollywood Regency. Condition the left bookend has no issues or damage the right one I have a finger pointing to any issues. Some small nicks near belly button. Not sure if there should or should not have horizontal cuts in the robe folds. Nick is in the inside center panel, tiny nicks on bottom edge. Clean with soap and water and apply mineral oil or wax periodically to darken the stone. Carving symbolize abundance, joy, and good fortune. Non smoking pet free home.
