A very rare and unique pair of Japanese decorative Kyoto porcelain sets. Each pair of cup and matching handled tray have a different floral motif. Both cups have a shadow picture of a geisha girl on the bottom. Typically post WWII export ware from the 1950s -1970s.
Naturalistic floral design with gold on edges and handles is hand painted by skilled artisans in Kyoto, Japan. These were meant to be a hostess or tea service.
Clean with warm water, mild soap and pat dry with a soft cloth.
Pristine very very good condition. The iris cup has a very small rough spot on the rim which seems to be a manufacturing defect since it is gold painted. Iris plate has a 1/4" knife scratch. Both are shown in last 2 pics.
