Pair Of Vintage Needlepoint Pillows "Fox Hunter & Dog" 100% Wool 15.5 x 15.5

Pair of vintage needlepoint pillows featuring a fox hunter, his horse and his hunting dog. The pillow utilizes a combination of needlepoint stitches. The more detailed areas, such as the figures of the horse, rider, and dog, are stitched in a finer technique known as petit point, while the background landscape uses a standard, slightly larger needlepoint stitch. Needlepoint is 100% wool, backs of pillows are covered in 100% cotton velvet and pillow is bordered in a cream braided trim. Pillows are 15.5 in. x 15.5 in and are in great condition. No fading or missing stitches, both pillows do have some staining on one bow on each pillow, one pillow has a little more than the other. (See last two photos.)
