Mahogany sloop made from Wood salvaged in 1918 from the S S Corinthian, lost of Brier Island, Nova Scotia.
Beautiful Wood Carving.
Herman "Hermie" Atwood Shaw was born in Sanford, Yarmouth County Nova Scotia in 1912, moved to Brier Island with his family in 1918. Herman was a fisherman most of his life, with a hobby of carving which developed in his later years
