The camera shown in the image is an Argus C3 rangefinder camera, affectionately known as "The Brick" due to its simple, boxy shape, size, and weight. It is in its original box with the accessories and instructions. It was a very popular American-made 35mm film camera produced from 1939 to 1966. It was praised for its rugged durability and affordability at a time when other rangefinder cameras were much more expensive. It came standard with a 50mm f/3.5 Cintar anastigmat triplet lens. It used a coupled rangefinder for focusing, which was an improvement over its predecessor, the C2. The Argus C3 has become a cult classic among vintage camera enthusiasts and collectors due to its iconic design and the surprisingly high-quality images it can produce. It even appeared as a prop in a Harry Potter film.
This set is a complete kit in its original but dirty yellow box, including the camera in its leather case and the flash attachment, which is a great find for a collector.
