Authentic, original 19th-century stereoview card featuring a poignant scene from the Gettysburg Battlefield. The reverse side of the card is hand-notated in pencil with: "Culp's Hill, Gettysburg."

Culp’s Hill was a critical part of the Union Army's "fishhook" defensive line during the Battle of Gettysburg (July 1–3, 1863). This view captures the rugged, wooded terrain and the remnants of the stone and log breastworks that were famous for protecting the Union XII Corps during the intense Confederate assaults.

Condition Report

●Image: The albumen prints show good detail for their age with a characteristic sepia tone. Some light fading and "foxing" (age spots) consistent with 19th-century photography.

●Mount: The yellow card mount is sturdy with rounded corners. There is minor edge wear and light surface soiling.

●Reverse: Features a clear, hand-written pencil identification. No major tears or creases.
