This is a beautiful antique porcelain berry or dessert set, dating to the late Victorian–early Edwardian era (circa 1890s–1910s).
The set includes five matching pieces:
One large serving bowl
Four individual bowls
Each piece features hand-painted pink roses, elegant gold gilt scrollwork, and a striking cobalt blue scalloped rim. The softly shaded florals and visible brushwork indicate hand-applied decoration, not transferware. The bowls have a molded, fluted form typical of high-quality continental European porcelain from this period.
These sets were traditionally used for berries, stewed fruit, custards, or desserts, and today make a lovely display or tea-table accent.
Condition:
Very good antique condition. No cracks, chips, or repairs observed. Light gilt wear and minor paint variations consistent with age and hand decoration. Please review photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
Maker: Unmarked (common for European export porcelain of this era)
