This vintage sterling silver ring features a prominent coral piece set in strip bezel and flanked on both sides by three silver dew drops. The coral measures about 11mm long by 5mm wide. The ring measures about 7/16" wide across the widest portion of the band.
A Marjan (red coral) ring is meant to offer spiritual protection, as well as boost courage, vitality and ambition.

This ring is vintage (pre-1970) & pre-owned and shows minor signs of wear. The coral passes the "hot needle" test and does not react to the touch of a flame. The ring is not stamped to indicate the purity of the metal, but I tested the metal with a GTE silver acid test. The results (red) indicate sterling silver. The metal is also not magnetic.
