he does sing and turn back and forth however his mouth doesnt work. the button to activate him is a little tough to push and the battery compartment had a tiny bit of corrosion in it which i cleaned up to get it working however it seems like you have to mess with the batteries some initially to get it working but after that it works just fine. so buying a universal ac adapter might be better for it.
