Genuine Limoges France porcelain trinket box. Features a central Marie Antoinette-style portrait on the lid, surrounded by intricate fine gold gilt scrollwork over a deep hunter green glaze. The base is finished in matching green and gold.
The box utilizes a hinged metal mount with a detailed 12-petal flower decorative clasp. The interior is white glaze with a polychrome floral bouquet transfer on the inner lid. Stamped "Limoges France" on the underside.
This item is used and previously owned. It is in excellent condition with normal wear and tear for its age, use and handling.
