50 1970 Baseball Cards: D May, T Taylor, Krausse, Sister, Talbot, J Price, Moses

Before the internet, a viewer could find stats on the back of a baseball card or in a baseball almanac. Here we have several players like Jose Tartabull & Earl Wilson whose reverse side is all stats & no bio or cartoon because they had long careers. (These guys are listed as playing in the '50's!). On the other hand, we have players who r just starting out & have more bio than stats like Larry Hisle. (Incidentally, the top of the white background to the cartoon on his card is slightly stained or darkened) Some of these cards r curved a tad or rounded. The border balance varies, many being spot on. The white background on the back is pure white 2 off white. Some cards r not strong on the corners; Others r. However, this is a strong lot of B level players both in terms of overall card quality & their durability as players (or lack thereof). The photos are iconic & are still radiant after 55 years. The blue & gold backs are great 4 readability. The cards feel perfect when held!
