Striking matched pair of vintage LE Smith Colonial Blue Moon & Stars candlestick holders in rich translucent blue pressed glass. Each features the iconic Moon & Stars pattern wrapping the domed base, paired with a stepped stem and flared candle cup that reflect classic mid-century American glass design. Under 365 nm UV light, both candlesticks fluoresce, indicating the use of manganese in the glass composition—an appealing detail for uranium and reactive glass collectors. These pieces were produced by L.E. Smith Glass Company and are most commonly dated to the late 1960s through 1970s, during the height of Moon & Stars production in colored glass.
