Vintage Art Glass Paperweight Lot of 3, including the larger Gentile Glass millefiori art glass paperweight, made in Star City, West Virginia. The "Liberty Bell 1976" mark indicates that it was produced as a commemorative item for the United States Bicentennial. And the maker is John Gentile who was a notable American glass artist, and pieces from his studio often have a "G" mark or the full company name stamped into the base, as well as specific canes for commemorative editions like the Bicentennial as this one does.
The next size is unmarked but similar to if not a Millefiori art glass paperweight that features a vibrant design created using the traditional millefiori technique, which involves fusing thin slices of colored glass rods (canes) together to form intricate patterns. It has a blue background with white, red, and yellow flower-like canes.
