Fabulous, Vintage, Gold Plated, Clear Crystal Rhinestone and Black Art Glass, Layered, Floral Statement Brooch.
Measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 5/8" deep, with a secure rollover clasp.
The flower base is constructed of four (4) layers of gold-plated metal.
Individual floral petals and parts are inset with faceted, round, clear crystal rhinestones and faceted teardrop, round, and baguette black art glass. All are hand-prong-set separately, a sign of higher-quality jewelry. The art glass stones are open back.
Not signed as to maker or metal content, but of high-end elements and construction.
Extremely Fine Condition. Under extreme magnification, a small gap appears between two rhinestones. This does not detract from the beauty of this piece and is mentioned only for complete accuracy.
