This vintage Lequel NYC decorative tray features an aged reproduction of a 17th-century world map by Dutch cartographer Willem Blaeu. The detailed decoupage includes Latin cartouches, classical figures, and the mythical “California as an island” motif, along with historic explorer references.
Produced in the 1940s–1950s, the tray has a black lacquered rim with a fine gold accent and a felted base stamped “Lequel NYC.” A beautiful accent for a bar cart, entryway, library, or study.
