Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Overlay Glass Salt Pepper Shakers Floral

This is a vintage pair of Mexican sterling silver overlay salt and pepper shakers with glass bodies. The shakers feature an openwork floral and leaf design crafted in sterling silver over textured glass. They are marked sterling on the base and are consistent with mid-20th century Mexican silver production from the post-1940 era. Both shakers include their original screw-top lids with functioning shaker holes. The set shows visible tarnish, surface scratches, and wear to the silver and glass consistent with age and use. No cracks were observed in the glass, and the pieces display an attractive aged patina typical of vintage sterling overlay items. This is a vintage estate fashion tableware set.
