Antique Ceramic Soup Ladle Hand-painted Floral with Gold Gilt. The curved handle detail has raised floral at the end. This ladle is unmarked. I would date it to the 1870 - 1900 time period. It would work well with any antique white sauce tureen. Absolutely beautiful and very charming, bright autumn colors and clear glossy finish.
In very condition, with some light crazing, very light age / use wear to the gold gilt. One very tiny flea bite to edge of bowl. No chips, or scratches. Overall it is a wonderful addition to any rare antique collection. Displays well, and would make a lovely gift too.
