Up for sale is a stunning vintage 7½-inch Duchess Doll, produced in 1948 by Duchess Doll Corp. This collectible doll is in excellent condition and features all-original clothing and hair.
Height: Approximately 7½ inches
Material: Hard plastic head, torso, and arms; stationary legs with painted shoes
Hair: Full mohair wig in dark auburn brown, in excellent condition
Eyes: Blue sleep eyes that open and close, slightly faded but fully functional
Face: Painted eyebrows, eyelashes, red lips, and pink blush — outstanding vintage makeup
Limbs: Arms move freely; legs stationary
Clothing: Original pink gown with sheer, shimmery overlay, bloomers, and tiny corsage (resembles a small red apple). Shoes are painted on.
Markings: “Duchess Doll Corp Design Copyright 1948” on her back
Condition Notes: Slight head looseness and minor eye discoloration (faded/pigment change) — typical for dolls of this age and does not affect display. Outfit is intact, with beautiful vintage stitching.
