Beautiful 1940s book "The Fifth Seal" by Mark Aldanov, published in 1943. Light brown hardbound cover with red and gold embossing. Measures about 8" by 5.5". 482 pages. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons.
Excellent vintage condition. Cover shows just a bit of age and life and some color fade. Pages are aged in color but intact. There is a name in pencil of a prevbious owner in the front and a flyer about the book and author included.
