Vintage Blue and White Blue Danube Onion Individual Small Gravy, Sauce, or Butter Boat with Separate Oval Underplate. Each piece has the so-called banner mark, which was the original backstamp used on Blue Danube porcelain from Japan, produced by Lipper International Inc. from 1951 to 1976, featuring the words "Blue Danube" in script on a ribbon banner with "Reg. US. Pat. Off." Neither piece is marked Japan, but that is likely where they were made.
Lovely vintage preowned condition with light wear consistent with age, use, and storage. No chips or cracks. About 3" tall, 5.5" long, and 1.5" deep. The oval underplate is about 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
