Antique Sterling China Co. of Ohio Fish Plates Set/2

Antique, set of 2 beautiful fish plates produced by the Sterling China Company of Ohio, at the early part of the 20th century. Matched set of 2 plates feature freshwater fish, with Forget-Me-Nots and water irises. Lustre painted beaded trim of blue and lavender gradient hues to complement the bright colors of the fish. These are very popular among china collectors. Due to antique status, and age, these plates are crazed under their glaze, and must be hand washed in warm, not hot water, or wiped off with a damp cloth to clean. Please see photos, due to hand-painting there are small marks in the glaze, and show some signs of wear. No chips or cracks on one, the other has a tiny chip underneath on its base rim, unseen during display, nowhere else. Overall excellent condition for their age.
