Rowan Silken Tweed is a versatile yarn made of 55% wool/37.5%silk/7.5% cotton. It is a versatile double-knit yarn and works well when knitted plain, with textures and cables and also for colour-work. The shade is 0706 copper which is a rich burgundy-brown. There are 9 complete 50g balls (110m) and two oddments weighing 36g in total. 6 of the full balls are the same dye lot (14I8) and there is one ball in dye lot 22J8 and another in 22D8. The final full ball does not have a label. There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of variation between the dye lots.
