This is a stunning large wool blend shawl by Laura Ashley. Made in Italy in the 1980s. It has a woven design of grapes and vine leaves. It measures approx. 55" (139.5cm) x 52.5" (133.5cm). This scarf came from a Laura Ashley collector's collection. It has been stored for many years. It is in lovely condition and looks like new. There are a two or three tiny holes from an enthusiastic moth but due to the amount of fabric in the garment these are only noticeable if the shawl is held up to the light and really scrutinised. Very generously sized It is made from 32 wool 62 viscose and 6 polyester
