1920's Kashmiri highly carved walnut table lamp 21 inches high.

This is a vintage or antique carved wooden table lamp, originating from a region known for intricate wood craftsmanship, such as India or Kashmir. The detailed, all-over floral and leaf carvings are characteristic of a style sometimes referred to as Kashmiri or Indian carved walnut wood. Style: The lamp features extensive, deep, hand-carved floral and foliate motifs covering the entire base and stem. The lamp itself is in fine order and looks to be walnut above any other wood type. It is in perfect working order. No shade supplied. It's been pat tested along with what appears to be fairly new wiring and bulb holder. Personally if you purchase, I would recommend you might change the recent holder with a more vintage orientated brass one.
