MCM starburst ceramic bowl with gold details – Gouda, 1960s

Elegant mid-century Dutch pottery bowl from Gouda, produced by the Royal Zuid-Holland Plateel factory in the 1960s. Originally designed as a terrine, but today most often used as a decorative object or table centerpiece. This hand-painted statement piece features a soft ivory glaze, delicate light-blue star motifs and refined gold detailing along the rim and handles. A beautiful example of late Atomic Age design, where craftsmanship and subtle ornament meet timeless form. Perfect as a serving dish, but equally strong as a decorative object on an open shelf, sideboard or dining table. Excellent vintage condition — no cracks or chips, minimal signs of age consistent with careful use.
