It's a higher-end model with cold-weather work specifications, produced in the USA from the 70s to the 90s.

The item number "70608 0216" is a WPL423 tag-attached, MADE IN U.S.A. piece, produced for the American market.
The sewing tension, denim texture, and boa thickness are completely different from current overseas-made versions.

The sleeve lining features a nylon liner with padding, a "real cold-weather protection" detail that was favored by cowboys and truck drivers at the time.
This USA-made specification is hard to find even in vintage shops.
