I made a cute cat hanten (a type of Japanese padded coat) using very cute Oshima Tsumugi silk fabric.
Both the front and back are from unused kimono that have been unpicked.
There may be creases.

I've added a pocket for a disposable warmer.
The cotton inside is called "真綿 (mawata)" and is 100% silk.
It's light, thin, and very easy to move in, making it a great cat hanten.
When it's cold, you can wear it under your outerwear, or wear it while doing housework or sleeping – it's a warm, easy-to-move-in, and comfortable cold-weather garment.
I recommend hand washing it separately.
Oshima Tsumugi silk may fade.
Please be careful.
