You are buying an autographed New York Yankees baseball mini helmet of former All-Star Alfonso Soriano. Pictured is the exact helmet you are buying. On the top of the helmet is a plastic static guard, which easily peels off.
Soriano came to the Yankees after a short playing career in Japan and became a top prospect. Soriano would play parts of five seasons in New York, making the first two of his seven All-Star game appearances in pinstripes and winning the first of his four silver slugger awards with the Yankees. A part of the famous Alex Rodriguez trade, Soriano would play for the Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals, and Chicago Cubs before returning to New York.
This helmet was acquired from a national auction house and came with an auction house authentication letter from JSA (James Spence Authentication). This auction letter is non-transferable to subsequent (including this) purchases, but a photo is included on this listing for your reference for authentication purposes.
